All eyes on BJP’s first list of candidates for Lok Sabha Elections

BJP is set to release the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024. After hours long meetings held in the country’s capital starting from the 11 pm on Thursday ending at 4 PM on 1st March, BJP is set to release the first list of candidates who will be competing for Lok Sabha elections.

Top leaders of the party assembled in Delhi at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence late on February 29 to finalise the first list of candidates for the upcoming lections.

Who are waiting for the list

Bhartiya Janta Party workers who have been working continuously for the past years and have been continuously trying to gain the confidence of public are eagerly waiting for the publication of list. BJP workers are waiting to see their names in the announced list.

Apart from BJP members, the opposition is also eagerly waiting for the announcement of the list so that they know whom they have to fight against from which seat.

Voters, who are the one who will be effected in large if BJP candidate from the particular seats win are also eyeing the announcement.

Who came to the CEC meeting

The meeting of Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party being held at the BJP headquarters in Delhi included BJP National President JP Nadda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje, Current Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the meeting. In this meeting of BJP, the candidates decided in different states are being discussed. In which everyone’s opinion and their support will help in deciding the candidate.

100 candidates this time, BJP’s target crossed 400

After this meeting, speculations are being made that after consensus is reached on the names of around 100 candidates . In which it is considered certain that big names will be announced first. However, this time all the BJP leaders are claiming on small and big platforms that BJP will win more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

Therefore, this time, BJP will make sure to select candidates who can assure them winning seats. This is being considered the only criterion for ticket distribution. In this first list, the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are already considered final.

The promise of the female candidate will also be fulfilled

The BJP high command has always talked about giving preference to women in politics, therefore BJP will make sure to carry this in their party as well. It is expected that this time BJP will give tickets to more number of women candidates as compared to other political parties.

Women workers of Bharatiya Janata Party have more expectations from the BJP high command this time. The names of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Vasundhara Raje, Smriti Irani are also sure to be discussed in this meeting. This time BJP will do the work of setting a new trend by fielding women in the Lok Sabha elections. Many BJP leaders had mentioned about fielding 33 percent more women.
