Pavan Davuluri, who previously supervised Microsoft’s hardware ventures, has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing Windows engineering in addition to his existing role. This reshuffle comes in the wake of the departure of former Windows and Surface chief, Panos Panay, last September.
Following Panay’s departure, his duties were split between Davuluri and Mikhail Parakhin. Parakhin took charge of the Windows division while maintaining his position as CEO of Web and Advertising at Microsoft, where he oversees products like Bing, Edge, and Copilot.

Davuluri has been instrumental in Microsoft’s endeavors to enhance Windows for Arm-based devices.
